A Gathering of Friends for Jerry Wayne Martin of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be from 4:00-6:00PM, Monday, May 18, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, with a sharing of Memories at 5:30PM.

Jerry passed away May 11, 2015, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 52. He was born July 11, 1962, in Chicago Heights, Illinois and grew up in Hammond, Indiana. He's the son of William H. Martin and Patricia A. 'Gasaway' Martin. He graduated from Morton Senior High School (MSHS) in 1980. He was a professional truck driver most of his life and later became the best darn walking Flea Market around! If there was something you were in search of, you could almost always find it at "Jerry Mart"! Jerry's family and many friends will remember him for his Happy Go Lucky Personality and for the fact that he'd NEVER met a stranger. His motto in life was; " One man's trash is another man's treasure". He loved life, fishing, hunting and hanging out with friends and family. He was such a free spirited man with a huge heart and was loved by so many.

Jerry is survived by his daughter; Alycia E. 'Martin' Caparelli of Hammond, IN and two grandaughters; Kasella A. Caparelli and Azalea T. Caparelli, and son; Jerry Wayne Martin Jr. of Hammond, IN, parents; William H. and Patricia A. Martin of Hammond, IN, sisters; Kimberly R. 'Martin' DeBold of Lakeview, AR. and Rhonda R. 'Martin' Castillo of Midlothian, TX, brother; Billy D. Martin of Senath, MO, two niece's; Krystal A. 'Castillo' Rose of Midlothian, TX and Summyr N. Martin w/ three great nephews; Blake W. Martin, Matthew A. Bowman, and Sabastian D. Martin of Bull Shoals, AR, three nephews; Ryan F. Castillo of Midlothian, TX., Billy D. Martin Jr. and Brad L. Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada and his beloved Kitty Cat; Jasmine.
