Jerry Bruce Pelts

A Funeral Service for Jerry Bruce Pelts, 75, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, September 27, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ken Burton officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, at the funeral home.
Jerry passed away September 22, 2013, in Mountain Home. He was born November 24, 1937, in Kennett, Missouri, to Berley and Pauline Burton Pelts. He married Mary Darr in April of 1962, at Corning, Arkansas and worked as a self-employed business owner. Jerry lived in Mountain Home since 1968, moving from Corning, Arkansas. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed hunting, fishing and scuba diving.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Mary Pelts of Mountain Home, AR, son, Greg Pelts of Cabot, AR; grandchildren, Jackson and Brennan Pelts both of Cabot, AR; sister, Jan (Joe) Hudson of Shreveport, LA and three nephews, Jordan Hudson of Shreveport, LA, Jay Hudson of Austin, TX and Jon Hudson of Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tim Pelts.
Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, AR, with Jordan and, Jay Hudson, Tommy, Kent and Duane Darr and Pat Jennings as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Children's Home of Paragould or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
