A Celebration of Life for Jewel Ethel Nesbitt will be held, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Kirby Funeral Home Chapel.
Jewel passed away June 19, 2012 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. She was born September 17, 1927, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of H. B. and Pearl White Ivens. She married Wesley J. Nesbitt in Mountain Home in 1943. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, sewing, crossword and wordfind puzzles and shopping. Jewel was a lifetime resident of the Mountain Home area.
She is survived by 5 sons - Kelly (Cindy) Nesbitt of Rogers, AR, Gary (Joy) Nesbitt of Mountain Home, AR, Dwight (Sharon) Nesbitt of Blue Eye, Missouri,Rick Nesbitt of Harrison, AR, John Nesbitt of Fayetteville, AR;1 daughter - Denise (Glenn) Wells of Norfork, AR.; 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sons, Harold, Joey and Mike; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 3 grandsons, Ricky, Dwayne and Phillip.
