Ford was born September, 18, 1947, and passed away December 30, 2015, at the age of 68. He was born in Haynesville, Louisiana, the son of Jimmie and Lorene White. He married Kerry Kelly on October 22, 1976, at New Orleans, Louisiana and worked in home renovation. Jimmie lived in Cotter since 2005, moving from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a councilman for the City of Cotter and enjoyed fishing, reading and coin collecting.
Ford is survived by his wife, Kerry Ann White of Cotter, AR; son, Sammy Marsh (Roszlyn) White of Cotter, AR; daughter, Armance Marie (Jed) White-Holton of Memphis, TN; son, Cary Chandler White of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Roxie, Jackson and Savannah and sister, Marsha Beth (John) Cadenhead of Slaughter, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
