Jimmy Martin

A Celebration of Life for Jimmy Paul Martin of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, Bull Shoals, with Reverend Jeff Dotson officiating. He died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 64. Jimmy was born August 21, 1946 in Mulberry, AR, the son of Floyd George Martin Sr. and Charlotte Martin. He married Karol Lyons on June 16, 1968 at Springdale, AR. He worked as a Maintaince Manager for Ryder trucks and was a U.S. Marines veteran of Vietnam War. Jimmy lived in Bull Shoals, Arkansas since 2009 moving from Cabot, Arkansas. He Loved fishing and woodworking. Jimmy is survived by one son, Jimmy (Teena) Martin of Tacoma, WA; one daughter, Mindy (Preston) Boline of Cheyene, WY; 6 grandchildren, Brianna, Wesley, Sierra, Logan, James and Cade; 2 sisters, Peggy (Dick) Robinson of Winslow, AR and Frances Blount of Springdale, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Elmer "Slim" Sutton who raised him. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veteran's.
