Jimmy Dale Sanders a life long resident of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away December 1, 2020, in Flippin, at the age of 76. He was born August 18, 1944, in Flippin, Arkansas, the son of Rupert and Nevah Treadway Sanders. He married Rebecca Fowler on November 16, 1968, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was a coach and educator before becoming a State Farm Insurance agent for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club since 1982 and a member of the Fayetteville Fire and Flippin Volunteer Fire Departments for a combined 30 years.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Rebecca June Sanders of Flippin, AR; daughters, Shelly (David) Diffey of Flippin, AR and Stephanie (Travis) Parsley of Lowell, AR; brother, Gerald Sanders of Flippin, AR; twin sister, Judie Taylor of Engelwood, CO and sister Betty (Bill) Copeland of Whitehall, AR; grandchildren, Travis Brant Parsley, Jr., Tabor Briggs Parsley and Tempes Brynne Parsley and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Sanders; grandparents, Tabitha & W.W. Treadway and Lester & Mettie Sanders.
Funeral Services for Jimmy will be 2PM Friday, December 4, 2020, at the First Baptist Church of Flippin with Reverend Aaron Lindsey and Reverend Steve Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 1PM until time of service. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Flippin or Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club Dictionary Project.
