Jo Ann Kersey was born October 16, 1925, in Corning, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Eugene and Zerna Harold Robinson. She married Jimmy Frank Kersey on November 3, 1946, in Corning, Arkansas. Jo Ann lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Memphis,Tennessee in 1982. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, camping, reading and bird watching. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Jo Ann Kersey entered eternal rest on March 2, 2006, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 16 days. Survivors: Her husband of fifty-nine years, Jimmy F. Kersey of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two nieces, Robin Ann Kespohl of Columbia, Missouri and Judith Marie Kline of Lampasas, Texas; three great-nieces, Zerna Ray of Arizona, Edla Long, Freda Hart of California Preceded in Death by: Her parents, two sisters and two brothers Visitation: 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 5 Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006, Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Memorials: Peitz Cancer House Active Bearers: Jim Kline, Scott Copeland, Rick Butler, Mike Geerling and Larry Kersey
