Funeral Services for Joan Phyllis Shortridge of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be privte.
Joan passed away January 19, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. She was born September 17, 1930, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of John and Bessie Ran Rohm. She married James Shortridge on June 28, 1993, at Warfield, Kentucky and worked at Sears and Westinghouse. Joan lived in Mountain Home, since September of 2012, moving from Ohio. She enjoyed crocheting, trap shooting, and flea markets. Joan was the Ohio State Trap Shooting Champion several times.
Joan is survived by her two sons, Bill Seymour Sr. and James Mark Shortridge, two daughters, Linda Sanchez and Barbara Sue Shortridge, and four grandchildren, Joanie Shortridge, Chrissy Shortridge, William Seymour Jr., and Thomas Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorials may be made to the National Rifle Association.
