Joan Loa Ward of Mountain Home, Arkansas was born August 5, 1929 in Tiffin, Ohio. She loved gardening, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. She was full of life and loved to laugh.
Joan is survived by her two daughters, Susan (Terry) Lindenmeyer of Midway, AR, and Diane Zera (Wayne) of Mountain Home, AR; daughter-in-law, Thea Kok of Amsterdam, The Netherlands; brother, Thomas Downing of Batavia, IL; grandchildren, Lisa Alleman of Midway , AR, Jeff Reece of Midway, AR, Julie (Steve) Milota of Tonica, IL, Blase Zera of Spring Valley, IL, and Maite Reece of London, England; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her first husband Homer "Jack" Reece; her second husband, Donald A Ward; sons, John Reece and Ronald Reece; daughter-in-law Barbara Reece; four sisters; and four brothers.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
