JoAnn Wasko was born December 24, 1936 at Caseyville, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Ann Pejovich Acordi. She married Thomas Wasko on April 7th, 1956 at East St. Louis, Illinois. JoAnn was self-employed as a pet store owner in California for 30 years and had resided in Mountain Home for 3 years since moving from Yucca Valley, California. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by; her husband, Thomas Wasko of Mountain Home; 3 sons, Michael Wasko of Independence, Missouri, Greg Wasko of Independence, Missouri, Scott Wasko of Palm Springs, California; 1 sister, Louise Salahi of Orange, California; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside memorial service will be Wednesday April 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
