Joe Wayne Passmore died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He was 72. Joe was born March 17, 1935, at Coffeyville, Kansas to Harry and Mabel Huggins Passmore. He married Virginia Stumbaugh on May 30, 1992 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Joe worked for the Justice Department's Federal Bureau of Prisons for over 27 years. He was also the Chief of classification and parade detail in Washington D.C. Joe lived in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, and was the President of their local Anglers Club. In 1994 he moved to Mountain Home. He really enjoyed the sport of fishing and also loved computers. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Virginia Passmore of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 1 son, Tom Passmore of Durham, North Carolina; 2 daughters, Joyce Passmore of Durham, North Carolina, and Janet Olson of Fairfax Station, Virginia; 2 grandchildren Lisa and Ryan Olson of Fairfax Station, Virginia; 1 sister, Lydia Passmore of Gassville, Arkansas; 1 step son, John McMillion of Prarie Du Sac, Wisconsin; and 2 stepdaughters, Johanna McMillion of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Jennifer Jelson of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Preceded in Death by: by his parents, and 1 son Gary Passmore.
