Joe Dallas Wiggins

A Funeral Service for Joe Dallas Wiggins of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Eric Sparks officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Joe passed away October 1, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 73. He was born November 19, 1942, in Promiseland, Arkansas, the son of Joe O. D. and Laura Rae Jones Wiggins. He married Emily "Jaynie" Ward on May 29, 1963, at Petersburg, Virginia, and was a heavy equipment operator. Joe was a U.S. Army veteran. Joe lived in Mountain Home since moving from Theodosia, Missouri. He was a member of the American Legion and The Church at Mountain Home. He was a welder, carpenter, plumber, and jack of all trades, who loved the outdoors. He was heavy into Genealogy and made headstones for ancestors who had no stones. He also loved to make horse shoe art and give to his family.The love of his life was his sons, their wives, his grand children, and his great-grandchildren. He loved to tell them all stories about his growing up.

Joe is survived by his wife, Jaynie Wiggins of Mountain Home, AR; three sons, Robby (Rose) Wiggins of Bartlett, TN, Rodney (Debra) Wiggins of Gassville, AR, and Ryan (Maureen) Wiggins of Belle Vernon, PA; 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Robby, Rodney, Ryan, Gabriel, and Judah Wiggins and Tommy Bettis as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Irby, Jeff Garrison, Gale Amdior, Dean Littleton, James Moore, and Stanley Risley. Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard and the United States Army Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
