Funeral Services for John F. Bannon, formerly of Mountain Home, will be held privately.
John passed away July 15, 2013, in Worcester, Massachusetts at the age of 79. He was born July 22, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Hugh and Mary Ellen O'Connor Bannon. John was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. John lived in Mountain Home since moving from Westchester, Illinois. He was a member of St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, Moose Lodge, and Knights of Columbus.
John is survived by his son, John Bannon of Worcester, MA, daughter, Regina Ryan of Streator, IL, and several brothers, sister, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
