Mr. Bouras died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Hospice House at the age of 87. He was born November 21, 1921 in Cicero, Illinois, son of John and Elizabeth Rankin Bouras. He married Mary Clelland on November 27, 2003 at Mountain Home. He was a carpenter and a Air Force veteran of World War II. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved to garden and do carpentry work. He also helped with the Vision Impaired. Survivors: Mr.Bouras is survived by his wife, Mary Bouras of Midway, 2 Daughters, Carol Isham of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Lorraine Bouras of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 2 Grandsons, Britt (Annie) Isham of Walworth, Wisconsin and Christopher (Shayla) Isham of Severna Park, Maryland; 1 Brother, George (Joan) Bouras of Mountain Home; 8 Great Grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, Kelsey, Brittani, Schyler, Foster, Christian and Grace; 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren through marriage; 5 Step Children, Donald Svehla, Bill Svehla, Nancy Svehla, Cheryl Thompson and Laura Williams. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, 2nd wife and a brother (Ronald). Visitation: Visitation will be from 1:30-8:00 P.M., Sunday at Kirby Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Service for John Russell "Russ" Bouras of Midway, Arkansas, will be 12:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2009 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Gadbaw, officiating. Burial: Entombement will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home.
