John G Bruce

John George Bruce of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away August 23, 2021, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born December 8, 1939, in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Clyde and Goldie Gearhart Bruce. He married Pam Shockey on November 8, 1963, in Oakford, IN and worked as a Machinist for General Motors. John was a U.S. veteran of the United States Army . John lived in Flippin since moving from Kokomo, IN, in 1998. He was a member of the First Baptist of Bull Shoals, AR. John could be found in his woodworking shop making furniture or outside hunting or fishing.

John is survived by his wife, Pam Bruce of Flippin, AR; sons, Brian Bruce of Amboy, IN and Robert Bruce of Flippin, AR; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Bruce and sister, Mary Strand.

Entombment will be a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kokomo, IN.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
