John Clement Ferebee III was born February 1, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was the son of John Clement and Fletcher McArthur Ferebee. He married Brenda Brindley on November 20, 1987 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Mr. Ferebee grew up in Pensacola, Florida and attended the University of Mississippi. He served in the United States Marine Corps in Korea and then spent his business career with Ryder Systems, where he was promoted to the position of District Manager. Mr. and Mrs. Ferebee lived in Rocky Mount, North Carolina prior to moving to Cotter, Arkansas in 2003. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. John Clement Ferebee III passed away at his residence on March 29, 2005, at the age of 74 years and 28 days. Survivors: Wife of 18 years, Brenda Ferebee of Cotter; daughters, Sharon Alexander of Vilonia, Arkansas, Renee Silk of Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Mignon Gastman of St. Louis, Missouri; son, John Ferebee of Overland Park, Kansas; 13 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Son, Michael Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, at the Ferebee residence Funeral: A Memorial Service for John C.
