John Henry Foster of Oakland, Arkansas, passed away October 31, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was born September 12, 1935, in Olive Branch, Illinois, the son of Henry and Effie Twente Foster. He married Marilyn White on March 16, 1994, in Carrolton, Georgia. He was a dealer for Massey Ferguson. John lived in Oakland since moving from Crossville, Tennessee in 2018. He was a member of the Cape First Assembly of God Church. He was Head Deacon of the Bethel Church for 19 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, working on tractors and most of all helping people. John was President of the board of Teen Challenge.
John is survived by his wife, Marilyn Foster of Oakland, AR; children, David, Bonnie, Lisa, Alicia, David, and Christine; and grandchildren, Kendra, Ocean, Emily, Carter, Corey, Jack and Ethan; great grandchild Nova.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and first wife, Maisie.
