Mr. John Adler Goodmanson

Funeral Services for John Adler Goodmanson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2015, from 9:00 am until the time of service, at the funeral home.

John passed away July 18, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born September 20, 1924, in Oakland, California, the son of Jense and Dagmar Hovda Goodmanson. He married Vera Mabrey on November 10, 1946, at Dixon, California, and was a loving husband for 55 years, until she passed away in 2001. He worked as a Banker for Bank of America. John was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. John lived in Mountain Home since moving from Roseville, California, in 1990. He was a member of the Lake Tahoe Lodge #707, F&AM.

John is survived by his daughter, Kelly Boyd of Roseville, CA; grandson, Jeremy O'Neil Boyd of Roseville, CA; and nieces and nephews, Mike, Mark, Robyn, Lestlie, and Harry Scott Goodmanson all of Dixon, CA, and Richard (Vicki) Pitchford and their children Luke and Valerie Pitchford all of Mountain Home, AR.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jense Goodmanson; mother, Dagmar Hovda Goodmanson; step-mother, Birtha Goodmanson; wife, Vera Mabrey Goodmanson; and brother, Harry Goodmanson.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
