John Green

John Green died Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 71. He was born Thursday, March 10, 1938 in Gladwater, Texas, the son of John Marshall and Jane Elizabeth Severance Green. He married Darlene Green on March 10, 1978 at San Diego, California and worked as a surveyor for the State Highway Department. John Green was a U.S. Army veteran. and lived in Yellville since 1983 moving from California. He has an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Survivors: John Green is survived by his wife, Darlene Green and 1 son, Jon (Eva) Zurcher of Yellville, AR, 2 daughters, Holly Moore of Yellville, AR and Kelli Zurcher of San Diego, CA, 2 step-sons, Michael Green of Fayetteville, AR and Johnny Green of Seatle, WA and 1 sister, Jeane Green Cahill of Sparks, NV. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral: Memorial services for John William Green of Yellville, Arkansas, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Church on the Rock - Yellville, with Reverend Kevin Duffy officiating.
