A Celebration of Life for John Kenneth Hill of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be a later date.
John passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter, surrounded by family on February 20, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 66. He was born in 1953, in Michigan, the son of John and Lorraine Hill. He married Christee in 1974, and was truck driver for over 32 years. He was a life-time member of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association. John retired to Mountain Home moving from Galva, Illinois. He loved camping, dirt track racing and attending air shows, especially the Blue Angels. John and his mother were able to celebrate their birthdays together in January, John 66 and Lorraine 96.
Debrick Truck Line of Paola, Kansas was his second home and family. He loved his many trucking buddies, Bryon, Tim, Dean, Randy, Hillbilly, Pee Wee and many others. He was respected by all, hard working, easy going and willing to help others.
John is survived by his wife, Christee E. Hill of 44 years, of Mountain Home, AR; children, Carrie Weber of Mountain Home, AR; Scott (Jackie) Hill of Mount Morris, IL and Jacob (Wanda) Hill of Mountain Home, AR; mother, Lorraine Cooke of Merkel, TX. He is also survived by his siblings, Charles (Barbara) Hill, Gayle Behymer, Joy Sage, Dee (Deb) Hill, Tom (Donna) Cooke and Sis (Chuck) Morris. He loved his family, especially his great-grandchildren, Ryan and Khloe and his grandchildren, Tyler, Bryce, Koby, Olivia, Cody, Evie, Isabel, Katelynn, Krystina, Allisa and Caleb Jonathan. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Max.
He was preceded in death by his father, John K. Hill, Sr., step-father, Jimmy Cooke; his brother, Sam Cooke and brothers-in-law, Joseph Brewer, Jack Behymer and Al Sage.
