John Horstmann

John Harold Horstmann was born Saturday, January 13, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Harold A. Horstmann and Phyllis McNamara. He married Wanda Theresa Strack on March 8, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. John lived in Mountain Home for 5 years moving from Orland Park, Illinois. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and the B.P.O. Elks. John Harold Horstmann entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 23 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, James.

Two Sons, Robert (Maria) Horstmann of Justice, Illinois, Michael Horstmann of Orland Park, Illinois,one Daughter, Catherine (Gene) Smith of Ontario, California, 3 Step daughters, Kimberly DiBenedetto of Hobart, Indiana, Annette Wheeler of New Lenox, Illinois, Suzette (Scott) Nietfeldt of Orland Park, Illinois, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, Brother, Peter Horstmann of Homer Glen, Illinois, 3 Sisters, Margaret Ebner of Huntersville, North Carolina, Jacquelyn (Terry) Short, Kentucky, and Joan Malabarba of Chicago, Illinois.
