John "Bud" Ludwig

John Charles "Bud" Ludwig of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away January 9, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. He was born February 4, 1942, in Peoria, IL, the son of John and Mable Cross Ludwig. He married Sharon Barnett on June 13, 1962, in Peoria, IL. Bud served four years in the United States Air Force. He moved to the Twin Lake's Area from Heyworth, IL, in 1975. Bud owned and operated the Western Auto Store in Lakeview, AR. Later, he would become a long-time area Realtor. He enjoyed music, playing the organ and fly fishing. He was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Bud is survived by his wife, Sharon Ludwig of Lakeview, AR; two sons, Randy (Michelle) Ludwig of Lakeview, AR and Jeff (Lynnea) Ludwig of Clinton, AR; daughter, Missy Rowe, of Mountain Home, AR; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Cersale, Trent (Mandy) Ludwig, Biagio (Ashlynn) Tumminello, Sarah Tumminello, LeAnn (Chase) Cooksey, Garrett (Ashley) Ludwig, Rebekah Rowe, Blake (Heather) Ludwig, Leah Rowe and Bradley Ludwig; 11 great-grandchildren and two on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Ludwig.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 1:00 pm until the service time at 2:00 pm, at Bull Shoals United Methodist Church, with Reverend Pete Beevers, officiating. Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, AR. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52.
