John Charles Michel

John Charles Michel of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away September 11, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was born November 3, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, the son of George and Loretta Michel. He married Lynn in Elizabeth, Colorado on May 11, 2014. John was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, during which he toured two times overseas, and was presented one Silver Service Star and one Bronze Service Star. John loved his horses and, performing in roping events in rodeos. He had cats who he loved as well. John also enjoyed fishing.

John is survived by his wife, Lynn Lipman; step-daughters, Jessica, and Samantha; step-son, Jason; three granddaughters; and one grandson; half brother, David Waltman; half sister, Jolene Downs; and cousins, Kittie Smith, and Jeff (Joy) Atkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
