John Leonard Mrzyglod of Cotter, Arkansas, passed away February 28, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. He was born August 8, 1941, in Delray, Michigan, the son of James and Tillie Wawro Mrzyglod. He married Helen Castle on August 28, 1965 in Deerborn, Michigan and worked as a steel worker for the Ford Motor Co. John was a U.S. Army veteran. John lived in Cotter since moving from Michigan, in 1995. He really enjoyed living in Arkansas, being outdoors just sitting enjoying the view, watching and feeding the birds. John would sit out there for hours listening to the radio. He loved cutting down trees for firewood with his best buddies, Don and Kenny, in Diamond City.
John is survived by his wife, Helen Elizabeth Mrzyglod of Cotter, AR, daughter, Cindy Mrzyglod; sister, Lucy Rudo of Michigan; nieces, Cheryl, Wendy, Carol, and Sue; nephews, Christ, Walter, and Bob; and friend Rich that he had known since the third grade (71 years).
He was preceded in death by his; father, James Mrzyglod, mother, Tillie Mrzyglod, daughter, Helen Lara, and grandson, Jonathan Lara.
