John Payne

John Payne died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 69. He was born Tuesday, May 30, 1939 in Booneville, Indiana, the son of John Robert and Verle Smith Payne. He was an Iron Worker Union Member. John lived in Mountain Home since 2008 moving from Lake Havasu, Arizona. He enjoyed gaming, NASCAR, boxing and Gerge Carlin. Survivors: John Payne is survived by his 3 sisters, Sheila Harsch of Gamaliel, AR, Naomi Wilkes of Smithfield, UT and Emma Hernandez of Hake Havasu, AR, nieces, Donna Bannister of Gamaliel, AR, Breanna and Lucy Wilkes, nephew, James J. (Kathleen) Jarvis III of Springfield, MO, great-niece, Kristin Linch of Elmonte, CA, great-nephew, Paul Linch, NY. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral: Services for John Hugh "Bud" Payne of Mountain Home, AR, will be private. Burial: Burial will be in the Maynard Bend Cemetery, Gamaliel, Arkansas.
