Services for John Wilber Phillips of Gainesville, MO, will be private. John Phillips died Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Gainesville at the age of 79. He was born Sunday, February 23, 1930 in Deercreek, Wisonsin, the son of Myron and Julia Carpenter Phillips. He married Judy sanders on September 5, 1981 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin and worked as a truck driver for Gateway Transportation. John lived in Gainesville since 1985 moving from Appleton, Wisconsin. He was a member of "Retreads" Motorcycle Club and a retired Teamster. John Phillips is survived by his wife, Judy Phillips and 3 sons, Randy (Londa) Phillips of Clintonville, WI, Rick (Kathy) Phillips of Bear Creek, WI and Rusty (Sherry) Phillips of Gainesville, MO, 4 daughters, DeeDee (Fred) Westphal of Clintonville, WI, Jackie (Ronnie) Dey of Clintonville, WI, Robin Phillips of Bear Creek, WI and Wendy Eulrich of Neenah, WI, 2 brothers, Harold (Birdie) Phillips of Neenah, WI and Dale Phillips of Freemont, WI, 1 sister, Gloria Anderson of Clintonville, WI, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
