John Reece

John Reece died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 60. He was born Tuesday, January 20, 1948 in Ottawa, Illinois, the son of Homer D. and Joan Stone Reece. He married Barbara Floyd on February 17, 1972 at Elkton, Maryland. He owned and operated John's TV. John Reece was an Air Force veteran and lived in Midway since 1973 moving from Ottawa, Illinois. He enjoyed building and flying radio controled airplanes and fishing. Survivors: John Reece is survived by his wife, Barbara Reece, son, Jeff Reece of Midway, AR, mother, Joan (Donald) Ward of Mountain Home, AR, brother, Ronald Reece of Long Beach, CA, 2 sisters, Susie (Terry) Lindenmeyer of Midway, AR and Diane (Wayne) Zera of Spring Valley, IL, nephew, Blase Zera of Spring Valley, IL, 3 nieces, Maite Kok of Amsterdam, Holland, Lisa Alleman of Norfork, AR and Julie Milota of Tonica, IL. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his father, Homer D. Reece. Funeral: Memorial Services for John Dean Reece of Midway, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating. Military Honors provided by Ozark VFW Post #3246.
