Funeral services and burial for John Gerald Sporcich will be private. Mr. Sporcich was born April 1, 1935 in Wakefield, Michigan the son of Thomas and Helen (Mordich) Sporcich. He served with the US Marine Corp as a Corporal from 1953 to 1956. He was very mechanically inclined and worked as a mechanic at Peoples Gas Company in Waukegan, Ill.
He was an avid craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. He was a life member of the NRA. John died on April 21, 2011 in Mountain Home at the age of 76.
He is survived by a son, Ted Sporcich of Mountain Home, Arkansas; a brother, George Sporcich of Wakefield, Michigan and various nieces and nephews.
