John Wham

John Wham passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 with his family at his side. He was born November 9, 1962 in Topeka, Kansas to Tom and Sue Wham. He married Kathy Moore on July 13, 1991 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. John was a graduate of Mountain Home High School and the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He held a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and was a Health Inspector for the Baxter County Department of Health. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force. John and his family have lived in Mountain Home for the past three years. They previously lived in Bentonville for 10 years. John loved music, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family at the family farm. Survivors: John is survived by his wife, Kathy and daughters, Victoria and Olivia Wham of the home, his parents, Tom and Sue Wham, of Mountain Home, his brother Robert Wham (Cecilia Ruffing) and nephew Gabriel Wham of Boulder, Colorado and brother, Thomas Wham (Tracy McCreery) of St. Louis, Missouri. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Sarah Wham and Oliver and Meredith Hartzell. Funeral: A Celebration of Life service for John Eric Wham of Mountain Home will be Tuesday at 5:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church with Randy Ludwig officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks or a charity of ones choice.
