Johnny Mack Brown

A Memorial Service for Johnny M. Brown of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Daniel Thueson officiating. Johnny died Saturday June 29, 2024 in Mountain Home, at the age of 88. He was born in Columbia, Missouri, the son of Glenwood and Lois Cornell Brown. He married Lois Shultz on October 15, 1954 in Liberty, Missouri. Johnny and Lois moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1999 from Kansas City, Missouri. They were members of First United Methodist Church Mountain Home. Johnny enjoyed camping, fishing, feeding birds and deer, motorcycling, and volunteering at his church. Johnny is survived by two sons, John Brown and Chris Brown, both of Mountain Home, AR, two grandsons, Greg Brown of Kansas City, MO and Mitchell Robertson of Port Townsend, WA, two great-grandsons, Peyton Burch and Parker Burch of Kansas City, MO.

Johnny was preceded in death by his wife Lois and his granddaughter Andrea Burch.

Entombment will be at the Kirby Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to FUMC Backpack Food 4 Kids.
