Memorial Services for Johnny Ray Sinks of Gassville, AR, will be 5:30 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services, with Reverend David Chapman officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Alley-White American Legion Post #52.
Johnny Sinks died Friday, November 6, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 68. Johnny was born Saturday, March 1, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of Arthur and Lorena M. Little Sinks. He married Gladys Sue Davis on October 12, 1977 at Great Bend, Kansas. He was self-employed, owning and operating Affordable Manufactured Homes. Mr. Sinks was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He lived in Gassville for 24 years, moving from Florecent, CO. Mr. Sinks enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, horseback riding, boating, and loved being with his grandchildren.
Johnny Sinks is survived by his wife, Gladys Sue Sinks, of Gassville, 2 sons, Justin Sinks of Superior, WI, Michael Prevulsky of Orange County, CA, daughter, Sabrina (Perry) Deese of Yellville, AR, 3 brothers, Tommy Sinks and Benny Sinks, both of Woodrich Terrace, CA, A.D. Sinks of Pleasant Grove, UT, and 7 grandchildren; Andrew and Brendan Sinks, Caron, Daphanie, Isaiah, Josiah, and Annabelle Deese.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
