Jolene passed away November 26, 2013, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 48.
A Strong wind blows, spring showers refresh the earth. Even in the hottest, driest noon day sun the wind brings the promise of rain.
Jolene was the blessing of rain to our family. Though our time with her was not long enough, we strive to remember each moment. Full of life she danced, laughed, lived and loved. She stole our hearts and our love will follow her into the next world.
She was the youngest daughter of Thomas and Janie Rosson; little sister to Diana Ross, who taught her to dance; sister to Mitchael, now gone, who taught her to fish and sister to David, who got her interested in gardening. Jolene has a close relationship with her nephew, Dean Finney and niece, Maria Finney.
Mother to her children, sons, Bruce & Levi Cureton and Michael Trent Ciampi and daughter, Magan, and grandson, Bryant Cureton she was larger than life. Always ready with a joke or prank. Her laughter bubbling up around us, making us feel truly alive; her strength, courage, talents and wisdom inspired us all.
Though she had hard times, even made some wrong turns, she always had love to give to her family and friends, the best of which was always Becky Martin.
Jolene will be mourned, missed & loved by her life-mate and fiancé Jake Minton.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
