Joseph Michael Aponte, Jr. passed away March 23, 2019, in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 69. He was born June 6, 1949, in Caracas, Venezuela, the son of Joseph and Zoilita Uncein Aponte. He was very involved with the Florida Water Association. He was also a chef and created his own line of hot sauce. He was an avid photographer who adored his German Shepard, O'Rielly. Joseph lived in Mountain Home since moving from North Palm Beach, Florida, in 2015 and married M'Liss Sudduth on June 14, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He enjoyed surfing and coaching soccer when his children were younger.
Joseph is survived by his wife, M'Liss Aponte of Mountain Home, AR; and four children, son, Joseph Michael Aponte, III; son, Jared Irwin Aponte and his daughter, Savannah Lorraine; daughter, Laurien Aponte Barroso, son-in-law, Antonio Barroso, and their children, Wyatt Dennis and Kasadie Elizabeth; son, Jonathan T Aponte; step-daughter, Christina Sverak and her children, Shane Squier and Jared Stryker Sudduth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
