A Funeral Service for Joseph Bohan of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2016, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm.
Joseph passed away May 18, 2016, in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 85. He was born May 17, 1931, in Motherwell, Scotland. He married June Fuller in 1960, in Windsor, Canada and retired after 25 years from General Motors. Joseph was a veteran of the Royal Scottish Army. Joseph lived in Mountain Home for 22 years, moving from Michigan. He enjoyed soccer, hockey, bowling and traveling.
Joseph is survived by his wife, June Bohan of Mountain Home, AR; son, David (Mindy) Bohan of Marcellus, MI; two daughters, Diane (Jeff) VanBuhler of Salem, AR and Susan (Steve) Nicola of Atlas, PA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
Burial will be in the Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
