Joseph John Dwyer was born July 8, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Joseph John Sr. and Lucille Barrett Dwyer. He married Jacqueline Farrell on November 13, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Dwyer was a service technician for a heating and cooling company. He lived in Chicago, Illinois prior to moving to Mountain Home in 1994. He was a loving and devoted father and brother, and he loved his grandchildren dearly. In Chicago, he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1135 where he was a 4th Degree Knight. He became a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church after moving to Mountain Home. Joseph John Dwyer passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on March 8, 2005 at the age of 49 years, and 8 months. Joseph was a generous, kind hearted, loving individual whose memory will be cherished by many. Survivors: Wife of 29 years, Jacqueline Dwyer of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sons, Joseph John Dwyer III of Chicago, Illinois and fiancée Bridget Mulheron and David (Jessica) Dwyer, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughters, Kerri Ann Dwyer and Lisa Marie (Dwyer) Blake and fiancée Russell DeLuna, all of Mountain Home, Arkansas; grandsons, Ryan James Blake and Dylan Michael Dwyer; brothers, John (Lorraine) Dwyer of Tennessee, Michael Dwyer of Chicago, Illinois, and Kevin Dwyer of Indiana; sisters, Sharon (Bob) Diver, Nora (Steven) Rice, Sandy (Bill) Schulz, and Colleen (Mike) Sparr all of Chicago, Illinois, and Linda (Joseph) Callan of Tinley Park, Illinois. Mr. Dwyer was a loving nephew and uncle to many. Joseph also had many friends and was loved dearly by all who knew him.
