Joseph A. Etges was born March 25, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of John and Tharsilia Renk Etges. He married Annette O'Rourke on December 4, 1948. Mr. Etges served with the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of the VFW for fifty-five years. He was employed as an automobile parts manager. Joseph A. Etges passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on September 3, 2005, at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 8 days. Survivors: Wife of fifty-seven years, Annette Etges; and several nieces and nephews including:Jill Singleton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Ron and wife Lori Stamm of Phillips, Wisconsin Preceded in Death by: His parents, four brothers and one sister Visitation: Tuesday, September 6, 2005, 1:00 p.m. until service time Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2005, Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Father Wilfred Okorochukwu officiating.
