A Memorial Service for Joseph Jerome Kolany of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Vince Daniel officiating.
Joseph passed away November 19, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born June 22, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Veronica Skupien Kolany. He married Marie Gehman on September 7, 1957, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a Commercial Artist for 3-M. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran and lived in Mountain Home since 1995, moving from Chicago, Illinois. He enjoyed trout fishing, being outdoors and was an artist.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Marie Kolany of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Debra (Kevin) O'Toole of Park Ridge, IL; three sons, Russell (Kathy) Kolany of Johnsburg, IL, James Kolany of Palatine, IL and Richard Kolany of Bloomingdale, IL and four grandchildren, Danielle and Brianna Kolany and Shannon and Bobby O'Toole.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beverly Safarski.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
