Joseph Reading

Joseph Stanley Reading was born October 27, 1945 at Chicago, Illinois the son of Stanley and Anna Marie Coyle Reading. He married Barbara Lucas at Palos Heights, Illinois on January 27, 1968. Joe worked as a lineman in the telephone industry before retiring to Bull Shoals, Arkansas. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and past commander of the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Joe was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. He will be remembered as a caring, hardworking man who loved being a grandfather. Survivors: Wife Barbara of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, daughter; Kim Galik(Chris) of Wilmington, Illinois, son, Mike Reading(Tammy) of Fontana, California, brother, Donald Reading(Gail) of Winfield, Louisiana, three grandsons; Joshua, Andrew, and Lucas and his faithful companion, Bubba. He was preceded in death by his parents.
