Josephine M. Painter
“Jo” went to be with her Lord on November 3, 2021. She was born in Brookfield, IL on January 17, 1931 to Frank and Mary (Ficek) Nechvatal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Les, her sisters Mary (Bush) and Jennie (Oberg), her daughter Lauree, and the love of her life, her husband Roland whom she married on July 3, 1950in Rossville, GA.
She is survived by her son Mike and his wife Debra of Houston, TX, her granddaughter April and her wife Nan of Westminster, CO, and her great-grandson, Dakota also of Westminster, CO., plus several nieces and nephews.
After relocating from Brookfield to Mtn Home in 1974, Jo spent many years working as a teller for Peoples Bank and Trust and First Security Bank and, along with her husband, was a long-time member of the Mtn. Home Bible Church. She looked forward to the days she volunteered at BRMC.
She will be fondly remembered and missed by many.
