Joyce Robey

Joyce June Robey was born March 6, 1941, in Newark, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Frederick John and June Priscilla Weston Heidrick. She married Walter Claude Robey on January 23, 1971 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was a homemaker and worked for ten years, from 1961 - 1971, at New Jersey Bell Telephone. Mr. and Mrs. Robey lived in Houston, Texas prior to moving to Bull Shoals, Arkansas in 1998. She enjoyed knitting and fishing, and her grandchildren were very important to her. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Joyce June Robey passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on March 2, 2005, at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 26 days. Survivors: Husband of 34 years, Walter Robey of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; two sons, Michael (Melissa) Robey and Scott (Teresa) Robey both of Houston, Texas; step-son, Mark Shoemaker of Sheridan, Indiana; step-daughter, Susan (Tom) Ford of Zionsville, Indiana; grandsons, Cody, Ethan, Daniel and Mikah; granddaughters, Brianna and Mikayla; sister-in-laws, Rosalie Bortlein and Madelyn Dillon both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Bonnie Davis of Whitestown, Indiana, Rita Mayfield of Chicago, Illinois, Melanie Robey of Bloomington, Indiana and Victoria Heidrick of Lakewood, New Jersey.
