Funeral Services for Juanita Mildred Perry of Republic, Missouri, formerly of Norfork, Arkansas will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Galatia Assembly of God, with Reverend Larry Thomas and Reverend Rex Middleton officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Juanita passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at her residence at the age of 85. Juanita was born July 26, 1925 in Newport, AR, the daughter of Isaac N. and Nettie Jane Mitchell. She married William J. Perry on March 23, 1942 at Mountain View, Arkansas. She worked as an auditor for the Kansas Turnpike Authority for 21 years. Juanita lived in Norfork, Arkansas since 1983 moving from Wichita, Kansas. She was a member of the Galatia Assembly of God Church and the Norfork City Council. She loved spending time with family, fishing, camping, the outdoors, sewing, reading, and was a great storyteller.
Juanita is survived by 2 daughters, Judith Gaylord of Republic, MO and Donna (David) Tice of Chandler, AZ; 3 grandchildren, Michelle Gustavus of Vilonia, AR, Jason Tice of Chandler, AZ and Celena Brown of Dillingham, AK and 6 great-grandchildren, Damian Loosey of Norfork, AR, Kristen and Kylee Bledsoe both of Vilonia, AR, Frankie and Sonie-Munique Garcia both of Dillingham, AK and Cameron Tice of Chandler, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William J. Perry, 1 daughter, Jana Brown and 1 son, Sonny Perry.
Burial will be in the Arkana Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
