Juanita Fern Riddle was born December 25, 1919, in East St. Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of Oaty and Laura Sims. She married George Riddle in June 1937. She was a homemaker who lived in Bull Shoals, Arkansas since moving from Cahokia, Illinois, in 1973. Mrs. Riddle was a life member and former President of the VFW Post 1341 Auxiliary, a life member of DAV Auxiliary Arkansas Post #30, and a member of Eastern Star Mountain Home Chapter 277. She was also a member of the Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary in Bull Shoals and past President of VFW Auxiliary for three years at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois. Survivors: Two sons, Herschel (Charlene) Riddle of Creal Springs, Illinois, and David (Darla) Riddle of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Herschel Jr. (Tami), Ryan (Sue), Sunny and Dustin; and three great-grandchildren, Dakota, Kelsey and Logan Preceded in Death by: Her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, and eight siblings Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006 Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals with Reverend Nicholas Lascaro officiating. An Eastern Star Service will follow with O.E.S. #277 of Mountain Home officiating.
