A Graveside Service for Judith A. Tremaine will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2007 at Kirby?s Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Randy Ludwig officiating. Judith Tremaine passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Good Samaritan Village. She was 95. Judith A. Tremaine was born June 19, 1911 at Corona, California to Wilson and May Allen Gunn. She graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She married Richard Tremaine on July 3, 1937 in Hollywood, California. She attended the Graduate School of Social Work, University of Southern California from 1962 - 1964 and received her Masters Degree. She worked as a Child Welfare Social Worker with the San Bernadino, County Welfare Department for 35 years. She was a Methodist and a member of the Retired Employees of San Bernardino County, California. She had been a resident of Mountain Home since moving here in 1981 from San Bernardino, California. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, one daughter Mary and two sisters Elizabeth and Robin. She is survived by one Granddaughter Carmen (Jason) Call of Albuquerque, New Mexico and two grandsons: Ian MacDonald of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Bruce MacDonald of Kalispell, Montana. Memorials may be made to the Mountain Home Scholarship fund.
