A memorial service for Judy Claudette Cheney Bogert of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home in Bradley, Arkansas.
Judy passed away July 17, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born June 18, 1944, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Judson and Ruth Burton Cheney. She married Kenneth Bogert on December 20, 1986, at Humble, Texas. Judy lived in Horseshoe Bend since moving from Humble, Texas in 2010. She enjoyed her grandchildren and shopping.
Judy is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bogert of Horseshoe Bend, AR; two sons, Daniel (Michelle) Layne of Whitehouse, TN and Bart (Traci) Layne of Bethpage, TN, one daughter Rebecca Buck of Magnolia, TX; step-son, Jeff Bogert and family of Hammond, IN; sister Pam (Bill) Brock of Horseshoe Bend, AR; five grandchildren, Tyler Pooh, Shelby, D.J., Zoey, and Walker; and countless special friends, including Judy and Lynn Spain.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Scattering will take place at the Bradley Cemetery, Bradley, Arkansas.
