Judy Evans

Judy Baxter Evans of Bull Shoals, Arkansas passed away May 10, 2022 at Gassville Therapy and Living, at the age of 78. She was born December 17, 1943, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Maynard and Alma Baxter. She Married Benjamin Evans on March 26, 1966 in Waukegan, IL
Judy is survived by her husband, Benjamin Evans of Bull Shoals , AR; Daughter Michelle and son Christopher; Two Brothers, Roger Baxter and Jeff (Kemi) Baxter of Rockford IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Buster Baxter
Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park, Rockford, IL.
Judy grew up on a farm in Rockford, IL. She was a Winnebago County 4H member and an active member of Alpine Lutheran Church. While a 4H member she had an extensive bug collection for a 4H project. Also, won a tractor rodeo contest at the Winnebago County 4H fair. She picked and sold sweet corn from the roadside stand on the farm.
She graduated from The University Wisconsin Whitewater and worked as a School Teacher for New Berlin Schools in Wi. Judy lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Burlington, WI in 2007
Judy loved camping and identifying birds at the many camp sights they stayed at.
