Julius Runyan

Julius Runyan was born August 2, 1911, in Strawberry, Arkansas. He was the son of Elmer and Vena Sneed Runyan. He was a farmer for many years and later employed by John Deere. He was a member of the UAW Union #434. He retired in 1974 and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Julius Runyan entered eternal rest, March 12, 2006, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 10 days. Survivors: Nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, including: Bill Runyan and wife Wanda of Woodbury, Tennessee; Linda and Virgil Young of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Cindy Runyan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Larry and Pat Runyan of Truman, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: His parents, two wives (Mary Catherine and Jacqueline), and four brothers, Ellis, Lester, Truman and Charles Visitation: Tuesday, March 14, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006, Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jan Heine officiating Burial: Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry, Arkansas Active Bearers: Virgil Young, John Baney, Rodell Bower, William Runyan, Paul Runyan and Jack Coffmann
