Julius Runyan was born August 2, 1911, in Strawberry, Arkansas. He was the son of Elmer and Vena Sneed Runyan. He was a farmer for many years and later employed by John Deere. He was a member of the UAW Union #434. He retired in 1974 and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Julius Runyan entered eternal rest, March 12, 2006, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 10 days.
