June Polan

A gathering of friends for June Marjorie Polan, 84, of Bull Shoals, will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on January 19th at their home; 158 Versailles Drive in Bull Shoals. Mrs. Polan died January 17, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. She was born April 10th, 1922 at Bismark, North Dakota. June, who was a homemaker, lived in Bull Shoals since 1998 moving from Santa Barbara, California. She was a member of the Sigma Phi Sorority and graduated with a BA in Vocal Music from Milton College. She was an avid reader and was also proud of the fact that she and Russell had a wonderful marriage for 63 years. June was beautiful, bright, cheerful and left wonderful memories in everyone's heart. She is survived by her husband Russell Polan of the home; one daughter, Jolayne (John) Flaherty of Bull Shoals; one son, Russell "Rusty" Polan of Santa Barbara, California and one granddaughter, Ann (Scot) Conyers of Flippin. Donations may be made to the Bull Shoals Library or Mountain Home Christian Clinic.
