Karen Harmony

Karen G. Harmony of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, transitioned away from the earthly world peacefully on September 3, 2023, in Bentonville, Arkansas, at the age of 76, with her ever-loving and faithful husband, Tom Harmony, close by. She was born January 30, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of William Kohlman and Betty Jane Gauthier. She married Tom Harmony on December 21, 1987, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and worked as a renowned Quilt Artist. Karen lived in Eureka Springs since moving from New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1985. She enjoyed many things in life, including creating a beautiful homestead, loving and caring for numerous animals, spending quality time with friends, and, of course, quilting and fabric arts with her quilts, winning numerous awards while being shown around the world.

Karen is survived by her husband, Tom Harmony, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and her niece Michelle Stevens of Ventura, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jo Christi.

A Graveside Service for Karen will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
