Katherine W. Wilkins was born February 28, 1920 in Lambert, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Jyles Clarence and Elvira Rosier Wood. She married Edward Wilkins, December 31, 1965, in Los Gatos, California. She was employed as a nurse with Baxter Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wilkins was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Fleet Reserve, American Legion VFW, Eastern Star & Amarinth and the Clarkridge Baptist Church. Katherine W. Wilkins entered eternal rest in Mountain Home, Arkansas, January 6, 2006 at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 8 days. Survivors: Her husband of forty-one years, Edward Wilkins of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four daughters, Janette Ortega of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Susan Joan Moore and husband Michael of Palo Alto, California, Debra Johnson and husband, Brad of Jefferson City, Missouri; two sons,James Edward Barnhill, Jr. of Gooding, Idaho and John E.
