Memorial services for Kathryn Louise Dawson of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 4:00 P.M., Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Care Free Living in Bull Shoals, Arkansas, with Reverend Roy Crane officiating.
Kathryn died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 82. She was born March 23, 1928 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Roy William and Zoe VanMeter Guite. She worked in data processing for Ovaltine Food Production and married Joseph Dawson on September 9, 1979 at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Kathryn lived in Bull Shoals since 1980 moving from Villa Park, Illinois.
Kathryn is survived by her sister, Marjorie VanOverloop of Kalamazoo, MI; niece, Donna Lynn Hastings of Bedford, MA; 2 nephews, Ronald VanOverloop of Westchester, OH and Donald VanOverloop of Round Rock, TX and friend, Carlene (Bernie) DeBold of Bull Shoals, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorials may be made to Carti or Salvation Army of Mountain Home.
